Join the community for Lachie's Walk 2026, a heartfelt 5km fundraising walk along the beautiful Mentone foreshore in honour of the life and legacy of Lachlan McLaren.

Held during the week Lachie would have celebrated his 21st birthday, this special event brings together family, friends and the wider Bayside community to celebrate kindness, connection and the difference one life can make.

The walk starts and finishes at Mentone Grammar, with plenty happening before and after the event including:

Coffee van | BBQ | Live music | Raffle prizes | ❤️ A sea of red in support of Lachie's legacy

Funds raised will support Team Sport 4 All and Fusion Mornington Peninsula, helping create brighter opportunities and stronger connections for young people in our local community. Organisers encourage everyone to wear red and walk together in memory of Lachie.
